The Business Cohesion Model is a concept based on the basic premise that no individual is perfect. Thus, all organisations are made up of imperfect people. The imperfections vary and have different effects on the performance of the business. The aim of The Business Cohesion Model is to minimise these organisational imperfections by aligning people and teams within the brand.

If you agree with the imperfection argument, then you have taken the first step in addressing what is necessary for an organisation to achieve optimum brand performance. Everybody, irrespective of their position or status, has a duty and responsibility to develop, deliver and sustain the brand offering of the business.

The Business Cohesion Model takes you through a sequence of topics, each encouraging you to think about the different issues that face your business. It will challenge and test any preconceived beliefs, values and operational standards, so be prepared, and willing, to follow your instincts as you develop your own ideas and your own Business Cohesion.

Reviews

If I wanted to read a book that would help me triumph over adversity, this would be it. So often this type of book can be maudling, but this one tells you in simple terms that if you set your mind to something you CAN do it (my capitals, not those of the authors). It reminded me of Jeffrey Archer's first book - the story of his own determination to triumph over bankruptcy - "Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less". I say that, not because the authors' own experiences were in any way similar to his. But because in their own way, in their very different social situation, they did it too. Well done to them - and thanks for the read!

The explanations about the concepts of NLP are easy to understand and the examples are helpful. I have read other books and until now this is the best for practitioners.

The Pitching Bible is an enjoyable and thought-provoking book that is written with clarity, insight and humour. It takes you on an illuminating journey through the seven secrets of a successful business pitch. Paul Boross explains that he learned the hard way about what does and does not work when pitching. As a consequence he has used his vast and varied experience to create a book that is overflowing with practical ideas and techniques for preparing and delivering a winning pitch.

With subtlety and skill the book challenges the assumptions that the reader brings to it. To support this process Paul regularly offers questioning, reflection and information points for the reader. You are encouraged to work your way through each `secret' and reflect upon your thinking and practice in key areas of pitching. For example, when do you think a pitch actually begins? Who is vital in the process of making you win a pitch, is it you or is it your audience? How is it possible to always remain in control of your pitch? What type of language makes you more persuasive when pitching? Paul Boross offers solutions to every question that he raises. What I like about his solutions is that they are based on real-world experience and have real-world application.

This is an impressive book that actively engages you as a reader. When you finish reading The Pitching Bible you will notice that there is an eighth `secret'...buying a copy of this book will give you a competitive edge when pitching and will help you win more business. I recommend that you buy one.

I have a large library of NLP books and find most of them repeating the same things over and over with slight differences. Your book, however, presents the information in a fresh and new way of writing that brings back the excitement of learning NLP modelling and applications. I have seldom been WOWed by NLP books after I attended the Master Prac Track of training other than the Turtles All the Way Down book by Grinder and DeLozier. Your Master Prac book has been full of one AHA after another. Your explanations are more effective and instructional than any others I've read .... and I've read most of them. I know of no NLP organization that has expressed such a thorough knowledge and been able to adequately express it as you have. This is another exceptional book by an exceptional author, trainer and consultant.

As an independent consultant, I have been recommending " The Pitching Bible" as a useful source of insight and practical application for high potential people in many types of business. It manages to balance the insight with the practical - making it a really useful resource for those keen to achieve results.

CGW Publishing took us seriously right from the offset, and we have had the best guidance and help you could possibly imagine. We've never done anything like this before and we never in our wildest dreams believed we'd ever write a book, but hey we did and then the search began for a professional to jump onboard and advise us and that's exactly what our publishers have done. Christopher is not only knowledgeable but he can read our minds, he knows what is needed and his suggestions have always been brilliant.

I have no doubt that Peter Freeth is on course to be one of the most influential and effective leadership guides of the early 21st century. If you've encountered Peter before, you’ll probably already have this book. If you haven’t – be prepared for a fundamental shift in your approach to business. He really is that good.
